The time for revenge has come.
Yes yes yes, finally a film with quality actng, quality storyline and an emotional intensity that is so rare in films nowadays. Liam Neeson is outstanding as the ex-bouncer whose daughter goes to Paris for the first time with her friend and is mercilessly kidnapped by unknown men. Such is the acting that even when Neeson is bashing and smashing heads together by the dozen you still feel an enormous amount of pain for him, for his loss. I found this story complex, yet fine to follow and equally uncomfortable when I realised that the route of all the kidnapping was actually very real and common problem nowadays.
An amazing film, one that will really tug at your heartstrings and make you feel glad that you are safe at home.
