For some reason I got it into my head that this was a sequel for 'Snakes on a plane' maybe because there was the word snake in the title! However it wasn't a sequel and the only thing that kept me going all the way through was basking with delight that Christina Ricci really can act! Her portrayal of a trailer trash nymphomaniac who has a serious addiction was brilliant and Samuel Jackson was as always on top form as the deeply religious yet mildly sleazy man who saves her from her demons. Film went on a bit but you can't have everything.
