When you can live forever what do you live for?

What a fantastic movie. Really brilliant. I have not read any of Stephanie Meyer's books but that hardly matters when you get into the story which is such a great idea (that of an immortal vampire who falls in love with a human girl despite the danger it will cause to his family) that it totally bowls you over. Robert Pattison is strangely captivating as Edward and I think he was cast perfectly. Although just over two hours you never find you wat to look at the time which is always the sign of a great film, added to which I totally emphathised with the characters and wanted to be a part of the story. A memorable movie, one I'll want to see again.
