One Elephant, One World, One Story
Dr Seuss appears to be a big deal in the States. A collection of stories which you 'must' read. If the ratings of the books are anything to go by I assumed the film would be brilliant. I must say in all honesty that Jim Carrey's voice was the only thing that I found amusing. The story was rather dry, and the characters seemed to have something missing which made them rather 2-sided. Maybe I should have read the books first but sometimes I prefer to watch the film with a blind eye. Much more of a film for children. Some movies can cater for both adults and children but I found this far too childlike to take it seriously.
