The Army was no laughing matter,
Having seen this ages ago and aquired a DVD of the movie that is somewhere under my bed I was happy to say that viewing this again after about 6 years is still an enjoyable experience like it was at the frst viewing. Goldie Hawn has the natural talent of perfectly timed comedy and it shows in a big way here. Her character, although infuriating at first (she thinks the army is like a private hotel)turns out to be loveable and you as a viewer only want whats best for her. This I find very rarely in movies nowadays, instead I tend to empathise more with characters in much older movies.
